That week before the start of Charis House of Healing on 11 July 2003 (Friday), I had a swelling on top of my left foot.

It was painful whenever I walked. I was limping because of the pain and swell. In order to ensure that the swell was not due to any fracture, I went for an x-ray. Result -- no hair-line fracture at all, nothing wrong with my bone.

Next I thought it was caused by water-retention but it was not. If it is water-retention, swell should appear on both feet and not on one only. It was then suspected to be gout or arthritis. Isaiah 53:5 says :-

" But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities; The chastisement for our peace was upon Him, And by His stripes we are healed" and I Peter 2:24 says :-

"Who Himself bore our sins in His own body on the tree, that we, having died to sins, might live for righteousness -- by whose stripes you were healed."

It is God's will to heal sicknesses and healing has already taken place at the cross. Stanley taught us that we receive healing by an act of faith i.e by coming forward like the two blind men who received their sight in Matthew 9:28, 29.

So on the 11 July 2003, I came forward when the altar call was made by Stanley. When I was in front, I felt a very strong presence of God. Pastor Rev Dr Daniel Lee was ministering to me. He laid His hand on my forehead. I went down. I felt like a piece of cloth covering my forehead. Then Pastor saw a vision. He spoke about refreshing. After that evening, slowly and steadily, the swell began to reduce in size. One evening, I had a wonderful dream. I dreamt I was wearing a pair of beautiful shoes. I was so happy. This is definitely a confirmation that I am healed, otherwise, how to fit into any shoe with that swell.

To prove that I have been completely healed, I went for a bone-mass test and blood test. Results showed BMD (Bone Mineral Density) is within normal range and negative for gout and arthritis.

So for the weeks that followed, the swell kept reducing in size until there was no more swell now. Thank you Father that I am healed. Praise You Lord. Thank you all who prayed with me, especially Pastor Daniel Lee and all our leaders.
