FAQ on Church Wedding Application
1. How do we apply to hold our wedding in Charis Methodist Church?
Simply complete the application form, attach all relevant documents and send it to us by hand or by post to our address at 91 Koon Seng Road, Singapore 427032. You may also fax it to us at 63448231 or email to office@charismc.org.sg.
2. We are not Christians. Can we hold our wedding in Charis?
We reserve our facilities for Christian (groom and bride) weddings only.
3. We are Christians but are not baptized yet. Are we eligible to apply?
Our facilities are open to baptized Christian (groom and bride) only.
4. We are baptized Christians but are not members of Charis. Can we apply?
Yes. We welcome fellow brothers and sisters from other churches across all main stream denominations. Proof of your baptism is required for your application.
5. How soon can we submit our application?
The earliest is one year from the date of ceremony.
6. How long does it take for our application to be approved?
Upon receipt of your application form and all relevant documents, we will revert to you within a month.
7. Can we withdraw our application after approval has been granted?
Yes. However the booking deposit may be forfeited.
8. Is there any cut-off date for submission of application?
In view of the need for you to decorate the place and to hold rehearsal for the wedding ceremony, it is best that you submit your application at least two months before your wedding date.
9. What is the seating capacity of your Sanctuary, Social Hall and Chapel?
Our Sanctuary has a seating capacity of about 400, Social Hall about 120 and our Chapel about 160 persons. Additionally the Plaza area can be used for reception for about 200 people (standing room).
10. Are we allowed to pre-view your facilities?
Yes, you are welcomed to do so. You can either join us for worship on Sunday mornings and take a look at our facilities or come during weekday office hours. Please give us a call at 63445750 to make an appointment. Click here to see some photos of our Sanctuary.
